BIO

Founder & Lead CPA Bio

I have written several books, including the book “Protecting Your Company Against Civil & Criminal Liability” formerly published by Thomson-Reuter. I have spent eight years designing and testing Internal Audit and Sarbanes Oxley departments for publicly-held and large privately-held companies, and advising CFO-level executives. I have written a variety of professional articles which have been published in the Institute of Internal Auditors, ISACA, the Sarbanes Oxley Compliance Journal and other magazines in the area of forensic auditing, and have been retained as an Expert Witness.

I’ve answered over 700 Tax Notice Letters of all varieties, up to and including settlement agreements at the pre-Tax Court level. I’ve defended taxpayers with serious collection letter notices, and drawn up Offers in Compromise and authored Installment Agreements in complex scenarios. I’m a CPA in the Midwest, and an accomplished researcher and author.
